The EXHIBITOR SERVICE MANUAL contains shipping instructions and order forms for booth furnishings, electrical, labor and other services available to help you erect and equip your booth at the School Equipment Show. ADVANCE ORDERS ACCOMPANIED BY ADVANCE PAYMENT for all required items will save you money. You can bring about a much smoother installation for yourself if you use the order forms in this EXHIBITOR SERVICE MANUAL and send them now where indicated.

NSSEA's show managers, Exposition Management, Inc. (EMI), will maintain an office in the Exhibitor Service Center beginning Monday, November 16. They can be contacted in advance at 800.395.5550 (press 7, then 5) or by email at nssea@expomanage.net. If there are any violations of the rules and regulations, or if you have any problems with service suppliers, contact EMI and they will try to resolve those matters for you. In addition to all service suppliers being located within the "Service Center," a portion of that area will be designated as an Exhibitor Lounge area for you where coffee will be available Tuesday - Friday mornings, courtesy of NSSEA.

Insurance, liability, and past experience require the following regulations to be closely monitored:

  1. Nothing may be stored behind the booths. This is a fire hazard closely monitored by the Fire Marshal. Anything noted behind booths will be removed at the Exhibitor's expense and liability.
  2. Outside independent contractors need evidence of insurance coverage on file before entering the exhibit area and must comply with the Convention Center’s Requirements for Service Contractors and Display Houses. Exhibitors appointing such must notify EMI prior to October 16, 2009.
  3. All exhibit backgrounds must be setup by 5 PM Tuesday, November 17, with all crates and boxes removed by 1 PM. No setup is allowed on Wednesday morning as In-booth Sales Meetings begin at 8 AM on Wednesday. In-Booth Sales Meetings are encouraged from 8 AM to Noon on Wednesday & Thursday.
  4. Dismantling of any portion of your booth prior to the final close of the Tradeshow is prohibited. Loss of seniority for future shows is the penalty for violating this rule.
  5. No children under the age of 16, strollers or carriages are permitted in the exhibit hall or educational sessions at any time. Infants will be permitted in the exhibit hall during exhibit hours only, but must be carried at all times. A waiver, available at the NSSEA Registration Desk, must be signed by a parent of each infant attending the show.

As your plans develop, if you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to working with you!
