The NSSEA Education Excellence Foundation provides NSSEA members with a variety
of ways to help children, schools, and teachers meet their needs through both
local and national activities. We are proud to honor this years recipients

NSSEA Education Excellence Foundation:
Supporting Schools & Teachers
Mission
Established in 1995, the NSSEA Education Excellence Foundation
is a non-profit organization designed to further the involvement and commitment
of NSSEA members in support of quality education. The NSSEA Foundation is helping
children and schools by supporting a variety of local and national programs
in the following ways:
* Awarding professional development scholarships
to teachers nominated by NSSEA members. Each year the Foundation awards up
to 20 Be
Your Best Scholarships to teachers of preschool - 12th grade.
* Presenting
up to three $2,500 John
L. Spalding Scholarships annually to NSSEA member companies’ employees
or their dependents.
* Recognizing members
that are making significant contributions to their community through the
annual Excellence
In Education Awards.
* Serving children and/or families from
low-income households through the Silent
Auction Grant Program established to help 501(c)3 community service organizations.
*
Partnering with First
Book, a non-profit organization that distributes new books to disadvantaged
children.
* Partnering with Gifts
In Kind International, the world’s leading charity in product
philanthropy, through the NSSEA Schools
In Need program.
* Supporting the efforts of the Committee
for Missing Children to help end America's epidemic of missing children.
